Digital Millennium Copyright Act Notice & Take-Down Procedure
Overview
VisualStoria respects intellectual property rights and complies with the Digital Millennium Copyright Act (DMCA). We have implemented a policy whereby users who violate intellectual property rights will have their content removed and may be subject to account suspension or termination.
How to File a DMCA Notice
If you believe that content on VisualStoria infringes your copyright, please provide our Copyright Agent with the following information:
1. Identification of the Infringed Work
A description of the copyrighted work that you claim has been infringed. If you claim infringement of multiple works, provide a list.
2. Exact Location of the Infringing Content
Provide the specific URL or direct link to the content you believe is infringing. Be as precise as possible, including the story slug, verse, or profile page.
3. Your Contact Information
Include your full name, address, telephone number, and email address.
4. Statement of Good Faith
Include a statement that you have a good faith belief that the use of the material is not authorized by the copyright owner, its agent, or the law.
5. Statement Under Penalty of Perjury
Include the statement: "I declare, under penalty of perjury, that the information in this notification is accurate and that I am the copyright owner or am authorized to act on behalf of the copyright owner."
6. Signature
Your signature or digital equivalent.

Counter-Notice Procedure
If you believe your content was wrongfully disabled or removed, you may submit a counter-notice that includes:
- •A statement that you are submitting this under penalty of perjury
- •Identification of the specific content that was removed
- •A statement that you consent to jurisdiction of the U.S. Federal District Court
- •Your signature and contact information
Please send counter-notices to the same email address as DMCA notices. We will forward your counter-notice to the original copyright claimant. If they do not respond within 10-14 days, we may restore your content.
Repeated Violations
VisualStoria's policy is to terminate the accounts of users who are repeat infringers. We take copyright seriously and will pursue appropriate legal action against repeat violators.
